Elasto-Gel Cancer Care Hypothermia Slippers provide heat and cold without causing trauma to the skin or nerves. Clinical studies have showed the slippers reduce onycholysis (nail loss) and skin toxicity in patients undergoing chemotherapy. If treatment is longer than 45 minutes, it is recommended to purchase a second pair of slippers. The mitts provide a soothing cold or heat treatment therapy for the body. Even punctured the cap will not leak and is still useable.
