Designed to augment arterial blood flow and microcirculation, the Aircast® ArterialFlow System is clinically-proven to accelerate healing of ulcerative wounds and preserve limbs.
ArterialFlow combines rapid inflation and graduated, sequential compression at high pressures and frequent inflation cycles, which works to empty the veins and reduce venous resistance. Decreasing venous resistance promotes unrestricted flow across capillaries, increasing blood to the extremities where healing can begin. Additionally, rapid inflation produces sufficient shear stress within the vein to induce a biologically mediated vasodilatory effect. Both of these effects assist in augmenting arterial flow and microcirculation, thus initiating wound healing and limb salvage.
Potential Applications:
Vascular Insufficiency
Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD)
Intermittent Claudication
Critical Limb Ischemia (CLI)
Limb Salvage
PDAC Assigned Codes:
ArtierialFlow System (32B): E0675
Upper Extremity Cuff (3225); E0668
Lower Extremity Cuff (3227 & 3229): E0669

Features & Benefits
Rapid Inflation produces sheer stress within the veins to induce a biologically mediated vasodilatory effect
Graduated sequential compression accelerates venous velocity which in turn augments arterial flow
Asymmetric compression applies focused compression thereby maximizing blood velocity and total flow
